Polskie LNG made a strategic decision regarding the implementation of the LNG Terminal Expansion Program
On 19 December 2018, Polskie LNG officially announced the commencement of the tender procedure to select a contractor for three key projects within the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal Expansion Program. These components include construction of the third LNG process storage tank, delivery of additional process installations increasing the regasification capacity, and the LNG transhipment installation together with a railway siding. The overall objective of the said projects is not only to increase Poland's energy security, but also to allow Polskie LNG to offer new services to domestic and foreign customers alike.

On Thursday December 13th, PGNiG SA will receive a delivery of liquefied gas shipped to Świnoujście by Centrica LNG Company Limited. It will be the third spot delivery arriving at the President Lech Kaczyński Terminal this year.
On December 11th, 2018, the world’s largest LNG bunker supply vessel “Kairos” has started operations in Northwest Europe. Chartered by Blue LNG, a joint venture of the Hamburg based leading LNG supplier “Nauticor” with a 90% share and the Lithuanian energy infrastructure provider KN with a 10% share, the ship was handed over by the owner Babcock Schulte Energy in the port of Klaipeda.
BioLNG EuroNet announced a commitment to the further expansion of LNG (liquefied natural gas) as a road transport fuel across Europe with new infrastructure that should ensure the long-term success and mass scale adoption in Europe.
