LOTOS Asfalt Sp. z o.o. and PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny Sp. z o.o., both being part of the LOTOS & PGNiG capital company, will jointly offer LNG bunkering services with fuel from the Świnoujście LNG Terminal. A cooperation contract has been signed on the 19th of April 2018. The agreement has a commercial and environmental character ad will allow a wider usage of the terminal possibilities.

Go LNG project held a conference and study tour on 10-12 April on board Stavanger Fjord Line ferry. The event gathered about 100 LNG stakeholders from various organisations from Europe and beyond. Four key sessions concentrated on Regulatory Update, Distribution Costs, LNG Business Case, LNG Global Opportunities and culminated with B2B matchmaking meetings.
The global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market has continued to defy expectations of many market observers, with demand growing by 29 million tonnes to 293 million tonnes in 2017, according to Shell’s annual LNG Outlook. Such strong growth in demand is consistent with Shell’s first LNG Outlook, published in 2017. Based on current demand projections, Shell sees potential for a supply shortage developing in mid-2020s, unless new LNG production project commitments are made soon.
